Reboot!

I haven’t been good at promoting myself properly since starting my independent midwifery journey, and in March 2022 my niece came to stay with me to have some time out from her family situation, but as time passed, she ended up moving in permanently. She was then diagnosed with ASD at the age of 16 in June 2022, followed by PTSD, attachment issues and emotion dysregulation. Needless to say, getting to know her and supporting her through some really tough times has taken time and energy. Even a tarot reader I’m drawn to (after I asked if I should continue with my private venture) said I should rest/recoup and come back in about 8 months. I thought it was related to my niece and her counselling that she has been waiting for, but something else has come to light in the Midwifery world that means midwives will soon be able to start providing intrapartum care at home again. I can’t begin to explain how excited I am about my dream job potentially coming to life 🥹🥹 and I hope to meet a whole bunch of other amazing birth keepers, doulas, midwives and more via @zestmidwives CAN’T WAIT!!!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
